Singer Profiles

Amber Evans, QLD (Soprano)

Amber is a first year vocal student at the Queensland Conservatorium, majoring in classical voice. She attended one of The Australian Voices Composers Bootcamps when she was 16 and one of her pieces called The Keeper is now in our permanent repertoire. She has perfect pitch and was the inaugural winner of The Australian Chorister's Prize.

Andrew Kennedy, NSW (Bass)

Andrew is a registered anaesthetist working as a consultant in Sydney. In addition to his medical degrees, he has undergrad degrees in Maths and Physics. Andrew is a keen clarinetist, pianist and netball player. Andrew first joined The Australian Voices in 1995.

Susan Creese, QLD (Alto)

Susan is a primary school music teacher, conductor and graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium in piano. She is an expert in the Kodaly method and is currently Assistant Conductor. Susan first joined The Australian Voices in 2004.

Karen Motta, WA (Alto)

Karen is an occupational therapist currently majoring in sex therapy. She first joined The Australian Voices in 2010 after hearing them at the ANCA National ChoralFest.
