Australian Chorister's Prize

CONDITIONS

This national prize is awarded annually to the best audition for The Australian Voices. Singers must be under 35 years of age and finished their final year of high school by 31 December 2012.

 

Judging
A panel of three will make the final decision based on the following criteria:

  1. Musicianship skills
  2. Choral singing skills
  3. People skills

In 2012 the Judges will be Gordon Hamilton, Scott Griffin and Susan Creese.

 

Value
The prize has a value of $1000.

Other Terms & Conditions

  1. Decision of the judges is final
  2. The winner may not be a current or past member of The Australian Voices
  3. Judges reserve the right not to award the prize if there is no candidate of sufficient quality. This is to protect the standing of the Prize.
  4. The singer must commit to the full 12 months of rehearsals and performances with The Australian Voices (including any international touring)
  5. The decision will be made on or before 31 December each year
  6. The winner will be notified via phone or email
  7. The prize will be paid in quarterly instalments of $250
