AusArt Day is a national celebration of Australian creativity — a single day when people across the country come together to support artists and arts organisations. It’s about shining a light on the power of art to connect, inspire, and enrich our communities — and helping sustain it for the future.

For over 30 years, The Australian Voices (TAV) have been at the heart of Australia’s choral music scene — commissioning more than 500 new works and sharing the sounds and stories of this country with the world.

On Thursday 23 October 2025, we’re joining AusArt Day to raise funds that will:

Commission new Australian choral works

Produce our upcoming Painted in Dirt music video

Support performances and creative collaborations across Australia

This campaign reflects our ongoing commitment to nurture Australian talent, share Australian stories, and keep our national voice strong. Together, we can ensure that Australian music continues to grow, evolve, and be heard for generations to come.

Help Us Capture Painted in Dirt in the Australian Bush

Painted in Dirt is one of the most loved works in our repertoire — a breathtaking Australian composition that captures the vastness, fragility, and beauty of our landscape. Audiences are always moved by its sound and spirit.

This AusArt Day, we’re raising funds to create a new music video for Painted in Dirt — taking our singers into the Australian bush to film a visual companion to this stunning work.
