Encounters - Musical meetings between Australia and China

This festival explores the rich but relatively unknown history of intercultural encounters, confrontations and exchange between Australia and China. After the official opening, The Australian Voices will premiere the winning composition from the Encounters Composition Prize A Call to Freedom by Nick Goodridge at the QCA Gallery.

ANCA Choralfest

The Australian National Choral Association has invited choirs, conductors and composers to Port Macquarie for a fantastic four days of choral concerts and workshops including several appearances by The Australian Voices. Artistic Director Gordon Hamilton is a resident conductor of Choralfest and will be conducting The Big Sing.
