Ngana









Ngana featured works by seven young Australian composers, five of whom sang with the ensemble itself. Composers include Stephen Leek, Paul Stanhope, Daniel Walker, Jacqueline Atherton, Matthew Orlovich, Kathryn Reeves and Julian Callaghan. The chief work, Once on a Mountain, by Leek, won the Sounds Australian Critics Award in 1990 for Best Choral Work by an Australian Composer.
