Are you a musical high achiever who wants to be a member of one of Australia’s most dynamic and important performing ensembles?

The Australian Voices is a vibrant and motivated group who are committed to commissioning, performing, recording, touring and promoting Australian choral music to the highest international standards.

The Australian Voices seeks singers with developed musical skills. Tertiary students, full time workers and students who will finish school in 2009 are encouraged to audition.

Singers must have a commitment to the performance of Australian choral music and be prepared to work as part of a vibrant hardworking team of high achievers. Composers are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should be able to read music, have a pleasant natural singing voice, have an alert and open mind, and have a versatility and flexibility that is suited to contemporary singing and ideals. Singers will be expected to make some financial contribution toward travel and other expenses, and to contribute to the on-going management and development of The Australian Voices organisation. Singers from outside Brisbane are encouraged to apply.

Interstate auditions (outside Brisbane) may be offered after singers have submitted an online application, uploading voice recordings as indicated below. Brisbane auditions will be held by arrangement.
